The CBS announced that the most famous American television scientific sitcom series will end with its upcoming 12th season. For their enormous and successful journey, the show will conclude as the longest-running multi-camera sitcom in TV history.
The Big Bang family is breaking after this long journey because Jim parsons do not want to pursue his role as the genius physicist Sheldon Cooper anymore. Jim Parsons wants to step away from his role so that a younger actor can fit into this.
It is rumored that the star has opted to move out while the combo was already much famous, and a replacement would spoil it all. Parson’s Sheldon is the most beloved character in the series with multiple storylines circling around his high-maintained-weirdo attitude. When the main character is leaving, the production house made a decision that they should end the show with the full cast; there cannot be any Big Bang Theory without Sheldon.
“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ during the past twelve seasons. We, along with the cast, writers, and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and a series finale that will bring ‘The Big Bang Theory’ to an epic creative close.” Warner Bros. Television, CBS, and Chuck Lorry Productions said in a joint statement.
The show has blessed Parson with four Individual honors as the lead actor in a comedy category and he will be ending this journey with some amazing friends and co-stars.
“It is hard (nearly impossible, actually) to really accept that this picture of the first of the final 24 episodes we will shoot for The Big Bang Theory,” he wrote accompanying an image of the principal cast.
He continued: “I am so terribly grateful for the cast in this picture and the cast members who aren’t pictured here- whether they were in one scene or many episodes along the way; you are all my playmates that I have fallen in love with.”
Parson is now a 45-year-old man but Sheldon is an ageless weirdo looped in a developmentally arrested flatshare scenario. So he decided to give up his $1 million per episode earning and leave at the pique point of his popularity as Sheldon and believes that the role would suit someone half of his age.
Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch and Simon Helberg have also confirmed the end of The Big Bang Theory. Kaley Cuoco, the actor who played the role of Penny wrote on her Instagram, “This ride has been a dream come true and as life-changing, as it gets, no matter when it was going to end, my heart would have always been broken in two.” She also wrote, “We are going out with a bang,”
