Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. He enrolled in the Lakeside School at the age 13, which was a primitive preparatory school. He developed a great interest in programming, the age system in basic when he was in the eighth grade and was executed from math classes to pursue his interest.

Bill Gates married Melinda French on January 1, 1994, on a golf course on the Hawaii Island of Lanai. Their first daughter, Jennifer Katharine Gates was born in 1996. Rory John Gates, their son was born in 1999 and their second daughter, Phoebe Adele was born in 2002.

During an interview in May 2006, Bill Gates said that he wished that he were not the richest man in the world because he disliked the attention it brought. Bill Gates was the second wealthiest person in the world behind Carlos slim in 2010. He gained the top position as the wealthiest person in the world in 2013.

Between 2009 and 2014, Bill Gates’ wealth doubled from $40 billion USD to more than $82 billion USD. But since October 2017, Jeff Bezos, the founder of amazon.com surpassed Bill Gates as the richest person in the world, now; Bill Gates’ net worth is $90.8 billion USD.
